Nicholls Colton – Waste

Our waste team includes a Registered SiLC (Specialist in Land Condition) with 30 years experience, and a Principal Engineer with 20 years experience. With a support team comprising a healthy mix of engineers and geologists, all of whom are experienced in contaminated land and waste work, Nicholls Colton Group is able to provide speedy, bespoke, pragmatic and cost effective advice.

Contaminated soil often requires to be classified before it can be re-used on or off-site, or before it can be disposed of to landfill. Carrying out appropriate classification tests and drawing the right conclusions is critical, if project costs are to be controlled.

Nicholls Colton Group has been providing contaminated land advice to its clients for nearly 40 years, and has the expertise required to pragmatically assess contaminated soils and potential wastes. We can identify the appropriate European Waste Catalogue (EWC) code; carry out and assess the results of Waste Acceptance Criteria (WAC) tests; and produce a Materials Management Plan (MMP).

“Particularly advantageous for our clients is Nicholls Colton Group’s in-house testing facility. If the analysis of site samples is required, Nicholls Colton Group’s fully equipped testing laboratory undertakes a wide range of contaminated land tests (including WAC), contact our contaminated land team directly.”
