Thermal Investigation

Thermal and infrared testing is a non destructive testing techniques used to measure and map surface temperatures used in constructional investigations to an effective method of testing concrete, brickwork and blockwork.  It can detect internal defects in structures such as concrete and masonry bridges, building walls, roof and floors and road pavements.

Nicholls Colton undertake investigation using infrared thermographic scanning equipment measuring temperature patterns to help identify anomalies including presence of buried electrical cables, voids and delamination’s within walls, moisture (leaks) in buried materials and effectiveness of insulating materials and sealants.
