Bridge 44, Lea Valley Park, Walthamstow
Often our Infrastructure Testing teams are called upon to work on topical high profile nationwide construction projects and iconic assets.
As part of the preparation and redevelopment works associated with the New 2012 Olympics White Water Centre, Nicholls Colton Testing was commissioned by Capita Symonds to carry out concrete condition testing, inspection, sampling and testing to components of the post-tensioning system of Bridge 44.
Site works were successfully undertaken in accordance with the client’s requirements and within the guidelines given in the Department of Transport’s advice BA 35/90 and BA/93, testing on sampled concrete and grout was carried out by our own in-house Laboratory.
Our extensive knowledge of post tension inspection and testing along with the advantage of our proven combined group departmental capabilities allowed completion of a skilled site investigation and delivery of robust report on time and to budget.
