Geotechnical staff complete the Winter Wolf Run !
The Nicholls Colton Geotechnical team are not afraid of getting their hands dirty and this was demonstrated with 9 members of the office team completing the off–road run at Stamford Hall in Leicestershire.
The team actually went the whole hog and got covered from head to toe in mud at the Wolf Run on Saturday 1st November and loved every minute of it!

A 9 strong wolf pack tackled the challenging 10k run which takes in a wide range of challenging terrain, vast woodland and an abundance of mud and water. The course is designed to test the mental and physical strength of athletes of all abilities – and it certainly did just that.

Our team included Principle Engineer Kevin Willfratt, Business Development Manager Phil Morgan, Senior Engineer Jim Poynton and Geo-Environmental and Geotechnical Engineers Philippa Bennett, Eshan Kermani and Cameron Adams.

On the day Phil Morgan led the line as we scrambled our way around the challenging course. Ehsan (a non-swimmer) splashed across several lakes and rivers , Philippa lost a trainer in a mud bog and Jim certainly won the award for getting covered in the most slime and mud!! Cameron looked annoyingly comfortable all the way around.

To be fair it was a great bit of team building for us and outrageously good fun!
