Endoscopic inspection

Endoscopic inspections

Endoscopic inspections allow us to utilise equipment ranging from a basic rigid borescope to a fully flexible small diameter video endoscope to undertake inspections where these cannot be carried out by traditional methods.

Examples of such works include:

  • Inspections of voids within post/pre stressed tendon.
  • Half joint inspections.
  • Bearing/beam end inspections.
  • Cavity wall and floor inspections to buildings.
  • Inspections within parapet posts.
  • Defect and crack survey (with crack width measurements) to ‘hidden’ concrete surfaces.

Usually undertaken as part of a larger scheme, findings of these endoscopic inspections can be presented as drawings and photographs in a written report, or as videos to disc with audio commentary if required.
