Coring to investigate structures

When Coring to investigate structures we use portable electronic or hydraulic coring rigs fitted with diamond tipped core barrels, core samples can be taken from a concrete, masonry and stone structures to allow subsequent inspection/laboratory testing for a range of properties.  Cores of diameters ranging from 25mm through to 200mm can be taken to depths in excess of 1m if required, either horizontally, vertically or inclined depending on our client’s requirements.   Resulting holes can be reinstated with a non-shrink cementitious mortar to protect the integrity of a structure, with sections of the original material being included for masonry and stone structures to provide an aesthetic match of the repair to the original.
